Kid Cudi shares “Entergalactic” tracklist.
Kid Cudi is prepping the release of his new album “Entergalactic”, which will drop on September 30 along with a new animated series on Netflix with the same name. Following the release of his latest single “Willing To Trust” with Ty Dolla Sign, the Cleveland rapper has now unveiled the official tracklist for the project.
Cudi’s eighth studio album contains 15 songs, which includes a Bonus track. The additional guest appearances come from 2 Chainz on “Can’t Believe”, Don Toliver on “Somewhere To Fly”, and Ty Dolla Sign on another song “Can’t Shake Her”.
“I always wanted to do something visual accompanying an album, but so many people have tried that,” he said about his upcoming project. “I just wanted to figure out another approach that hadn’t been done before. With this, the process was really simple. I masterminded this whole thing and said, ‘Okay, it’s best if I make the music first and then we go in and write the scripts.’”
In order to generate more buzz for the “out of this world” project he is passionate about, Cudi presented the official trailer for Entergalactic. Cudi plays the comic book artist Jabari in Entergalactic, which Kenya Barris co-produced. Jabari develops feelings for his new neighbor, Meadow (Jessica Williams). “The first time I watched Entergalactic, I cried at the end,” Cudi said. “And look, I know what the show’s about: I’ve read every script, I’m in the show, I know how it ends. But it was still so powerful that it moved me, man.”
