Kendrick Lamar Wins His Second Emmy Award For Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show

Kendrick Lamar honoured with another Emmy.

Kendrick Lamar continues his domination as the rapper is now honoured with his second Emmy Award. He won the trophy on Night 2 of the Creative Art Emmys, which took place on Sunday at the Peacock Theatre at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The Compton emcee won the award for outstanding music direction for The Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show Starring Kendrick Lamar, alongside co-nominee Tony Russell. The show was nominated in seven categories at the Emmys.

This is K. Dot’s second Primetime Emmy award, the first being outstanding variety special (live) for The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show 2022, which also featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent.

At the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime, Kendrick Lamar performed 11 songs, along with the hit “Not Like Us.” The performance started with the GNX trailer song, followed by “Squabble Up”, “Humble”, “DNA”, “Euphoria”, “Man at the Garden”, “Peekaboo”, “Luther” and “All The Stars” with SZA. He then performed “Not Like Us”, followed by “TV Off” with Mustard.
