Kendrick Lamar teases 'Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers' as a Double Album

Kendrick Lamar’s New Album ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ is coming on 13th this month.

K. Dot has been snugly about the project’s specifics, but he offered a major clue about his anticipated album on Tuesday (May 3).
Kendrick’s Oklama website just added a new folder with a photo of the Compton native clutching two CDs, one labelled “Morale” and the other “Steppers,” leading fans to believe he’s hinting to a double album.

Nothing has been confirmed, however, the CDs representing the “Master Copy” of the LP are a solid subtle clue in Kendrick Lamar’s direction. Kendrick Lamar released Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers in April, causing a buzz among fans since it has been roughly 5 years since his previous album “DAMN“.

Earlier this month there was an update on Kendrick Lamar’s New Album by himself only, “All true material for this publication will come exclusively from this source,” he stated at the time. “Thank you for your patience.”
The lp will be Lamar’s first full-length release since Damn, which he released in 2017. While he hasn’t recorded an album of his own in the years afterward, he recently collaborated with his cousin, Baby Keem, on the songs “Family Ties” and “Range Brothers,” which are both featured on The Melodic Blue. For “Family Ties,” he received the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance.

With a message on his website in August 2021, Lamar first unveiled the then-untitled project. He alluded to the album’s themes in the message, as well as the fact that he’d be departing Top Dawg Entertainment following the album’s release.
As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood,” Lamar wrote at the time. “May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling. There’s beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I’ve prayed for you all.
