Kendrick Lamar performs “Silent Hill” with Kodak Black at Rolling Loud.
Kendrick Lamar was the third headliner on the last day of Rolling Loud Miami 2022, and the rapper brought out Kodak Black for a performance of their latest collaboration “Silent Hill”.
“Make some noise for my muthaf**king ni**a, Kodak muthaf**king Black,” says Kendrick at Hard Rock Stadium. “Love, love, love,” responds the guest Yak. Kodak, who was detained last week on suspicion of a probation violation after police reportedly discovered prescription medication oxycontin in his car during a traffic check, wore an ankle monitor. Baby Keem, Kendrick’s younger cousin, joined him on stage to perform their song “Family Ties.”
During his headline set, Kendrick Lamar played several of Mr. Morale & The Big Stepper’s songs, including “N95,” “Count Me Out,” and “Savior,” as well as hits from good kid, m.A.A.d city, To Pimp a Butterfly, and DAMN.
Kendrick’s performance coincided with the start of his global Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers Tour, which kicked off last week in Oklahoma City. The huge 65-city tour begins on Wednesday in Tampa, Florida (July 27).
K. Dot has been in the news this week due to a viral clip, which shows a Security Guard crying during the rapper’s performance. The emotional guard was seen rapping and crying when Kendrick Lamar was performing the “DAMN.” hit “Love”.
