The Big Steppers Tour, which started in June of last year in Milan, featured a concert film that was shot in Paris at Accor Arena and was released via Amazon Studios. The artist, who is nominated for eight categories in the 2023 Grammy Awards, recently discussed the tour in an interview with New York Times and the co-founder of pgLang, Dave Free. “Now incorporate that with dance and art, and you get this contextualized, theatrical type of performance. That’s what it built into. Then you put it all in the platform, all on the deck. It feels like a theatrical hip-hop show, and not the corny [expletive].”
