Drake Denies Kendrick Lamar's Claims That He's Hiding A Daughter: "These Guys Are In Shambles"

Kendrick Lamar triumphs over Drake with another rap record.

Kendrick Lamar continues his dominance over Drake as he has now surpassed another record set by the Toronto rap star. Kendrick Lamar now holds the title for the highest certified rap song of all time, thanks to the Travis Scott hit collaboration “Goosebumps.” The song is now 17x RIAA Platinum, which means it has sold more than 17 million units in the USA. It has now surpassed Drake’s hit “God’s Plan”, which is 16x RIAA Platinum.

The song was released as the third single from Scott’s second studio album, “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.” In 2017, Travis Scott also broke a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive performances of a song during a show after he performed “Goosebumps” 15 times in a row.

While Drake is dethroned from the highest certified rap song, he still has 10 Diamond tracks, a joint record with Post Malone.

In an old interview with Billboard, Travis Scott revealed how the collaboration came together. “I met him [Kendrick Lamar] at the MTV Video Music Awards one year and he came up to me and was just like, “Yo, man, I f–k with your music. It’s super dope and inspirational.” I was like, whoa, this is the best rapper in the globe – he f–ks with my music! That’s one of the things that made me want to keep working on my music and try to keep it going ’cause I’m not the most rappity rap a-s ni–a. That’s not me but I really love Kendrick’s music. I really love André [3000]’s music. I really love ‘Ye’s sh-t. I really love Jay’s sh-t. I like rappers. It’s just dope that these dudes came to La Flame’s world to get down on some ill beats.”
