Kendrick Lamar wins album of the year at 2025 BET Awards.
Kendrick Lamar continues his domination as the rapper, now taking home five trophies at the 2025 BET Awards. The event took place at Peacock Theatre in his home, Los Angeles, where the rapper also attended the show. He was the most nominated artist with 10 nods, winning 5 of them.
K. Dot won the album of the year for GNX, video of the year for ‘Not Like Us’, Best collaboration for ‘Luther’ with SZA, Best male hip-hop artist and video director of the year. “I just brought out more awards. You been winning sh-t all year, I just figured I’d get in front of it,” said the host Kevin Hart.
“BET has always made sure they’re representing the culture right and always put me in the midst of the cycle of what we represent,” said Kendrick while accepting AOTY.
