Kanye West responds to a fan who said he’s off the meds.
Kanye West has been too active on his Instagram, and every day the rapper is making headlines for his posts. The GOOD Music boss recently went back and forth with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian with a series of IG posts, before removing all of it. Now Ye called out Billie Eilish for sneak dissing Travis Scott during one of her recent shows.
After the post, one of the fan said, “Man’s off the meds album gonna go crazy.” The rapper saw the comment and snapped at the fan while sharing the screenshot on his profile. “The world is racist sexist homophobic and crazy phobic at our core its cheap and dismissive to say im off my meds anytime I speak up phobia in this sense doesn’t mean being afraid of it means not giving power to lets be more conscious and not write each other off so easily,” he wrote.
In a 2019 interview with Forbes magazine, the father of four highlighted his illness and the way people talk about mental health. “‘Crazy’ is a word that’s not gonna be used loosely in the future,” Ye said. “Understand that this is actually a condition that people can end up in, be born into, driven into, and go in and out. And there’s a lot of people that have been called that ‘C’ word that have ended up on this cover,” he added, referring to the magazine’s cover that month.
Ye’s latest statement comes after the Donda rapper requested an apology from Billie Eilish following claims that she took a jab at Travis Scott during her show.
Earlier tonight, the DONDA rapper also returned with some new music, as he contributes to Fivio Foreign’s new single “City of Gods” with Alicia Keys.
