The two longtime collaborators went back and forth during Kim Kardashian’s relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, as Ye criticized Cudi for being friends with Davidson. Cudi then criticized Kanye West’s behavior and its impact on his mental health.
This is the second listening event for the highly anticipated new album, as the previous one was held at Miami’s Wynwood Marketplace a few days ago. The previous event featured Offset, Chris Brown, Freddie Gibbs, Kodak Black, Lil Durk and more. Ye’s daughter North West was also at the stage, where she also performed her part on the song titled “Slide”.
