LAPD investigating Kanye West for Alleged Battery.
Kanye West is under investigation by LAPD for criminal battery. According to TMZ, the GOOD Music boss gets into an argument, that turned physical at around 3 AM at South Santa Fe Avenue and Bay Street in downtown Los Angeles. The incident reportedly took place near the Soho Warehouse.
It is being reported that Ye pushed and then punched a male fan, knocking him to the ground. The incident is being investigated as misdemeanour battery, which carries a maximum jail sentence of 6 months.
In a clip shared by TMZ, Kanye West was seen in an argument and yelling, “Did y’all say that or not? Did y’all say that or not? Cuz that’s what happened right f***ing now.” The incident was said to be sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
In a statement, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said officers responded to a call at 3am. “A battery report was completed with Kanye West as a named suspect.” “No arrests have been made and the incident is being investigated by our Newton Division,” they added.
Earlier in the evening, Kanye West was partying with girlfriend Julia Fox, Madonna, Antonio Brown, Floyd Mayweather and more at restaurant club Delilah. He also shared a kiss with his actress girlfriend after leaving the club.
