Kanye West asks Drake to end their beef for Larry Hoover.
Kanye West and Drake had been going at each other for the past few months and now it looks like we can finally see the end of their feud, thanks to J. Prince and Larry Hoover. Kanye West has issued a request to Drake to squash their differences, and join him for a concert next month. The purpose of the concert is to help Larry Hoover get free from federal prison, who is serving a life sentence.
J. Prince released a clip on his social media in which he was standing with Ye. In the video, Kanye West says, “This is Ye and J. Prince. I’m making this video to address an ongoing back-and-forth between myself and Drake. Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest. I’m asking Drake on Dec. 7 to join me onstage as a special guest to share the two biggest albums of the year. Live in Los Angeles with the ultimate purpose being to free Larry Hoover.”
Ye continues, “I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause, but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together.”
On Donda, Kanye also broadcast Larry Jr.’s monologue on his father, which Larry claimed helped viewers recognize his father as a “human being.” “You know, they look at my father as Larry Hoover the gangster and all the negative activity they put around his name and that the media has put there,” he told TMZ. “Donda was my first opportunity to give my narrative and let people see him as a person and know who he is.”
J. Prince revealed that it was Larry Hoover who send a message to him that he would like to see Drake and Kanye end their differences. “I met with @kanyewest last night in Htown at the Rothko Chapel,” he wrote. “So I met with Ye to pass on the message from my brother Larry Hoover who said he would like to see peace between the two of them. Ye received this well and said thanks because he never had anyone that sat him down and explained things to him the way I did. I’m looking forward to all of us working together in unison to elevate our communities around the world.”
