Drake raps about squashing Kanye West’s beef for J. Prince.
Drake and 21 Savage dropped their new joint album “Her Loss” last night, which brought several name drops and subliminal shots from the duo. The Toronto rapper also rapped about squashing his beef with Kanye West last year for Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert.
“Linking with the opps, bi**h, I did that for J. Prince / Bi**h, I did it for the mob ties,” he raps on “Circo Loco”. “And I never been the one to go apologies / Me, I’d rather hit ’em up one more time.”
Ye, who made his return to twitter last night, also responded to the lyrics and calls for all the rap artists to stay on same side. “Enough already. I done gave this man his flowers multiple times,” he wrote. “Let’s really see who are real ops are in this music game. Imagine all the rappers on the same side and everyone cleaning up each others contracts. It’s kingdom time. Love Drake.”

As Kanye West stated about praising Drizzy, he just recently called him the greatest rapper ever on his controversial Drink Champs interview.

Drake and Ye’s connection is overcomplicated, and it’s unclear when their riff began. Pusha T released “Duppy Freestyle” in 2018 and sang about Drake’s son, who had not been introduced to the world at the time. Drizzy was asked about his friendship status with Kanye West in a rare sit-down chat with Elliot Wilson in 2019. Drake’s response indicated that he was not in a hurry to rebuild.
