Kanye West visited Cousin’s Grandmother on her birthday with girlfriend Chaney Jones.
The 64th annual grammy awards took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday Night. Kanye West, who was recently removed from the event’s performers list, didn’t make an appearance.
The rapper was nominated in several categories including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album. Even though he failed to win both the major categories, the Donda rapper was honoured with 2 Grammy awards. Ye won Grammys for Jay-Z collaboration “Jail” in Best Rap Song, and The Weeknd and Lil Baby assisted “Hurricane” in the Best Melodic Rap Performance.
Instead of attending this year’s Grammys, Kanye paid a visit to his Cousin’s Grandmother for a surprise on her 85th Birthday party. “This what 85!!!! Looks like My family including my cousin Kanye suprised my grandma for her 85th bday.. Been to long since i Been was a great day,” wrote his cousin in one of the clips. In another clip, Ye’s Kim Kardashian look-alike girlfriend Chaney Jones was also spotted at the family party.
According to Variety and TMZ, Ye has also backed out of Coachella, where he was scheduled to headline the last night later this month, for undisclosed reasons. Since being suspended by Instagram in March, he hasn’t spoken publicly or utilised his social media accounts.
