Kai Cenat Is Not Happy With Eminem Winning Two Awards At AMAs 2025

Kai Cenat questions Eminem’s AMA win.

The American Music Awards 2025 took place earlier this week, which featured Eminem winning two trophies, for Best Hip-Hop artist and Best Hip-Hop Album. The popular livestreamer Kai Cenat was also present at the ceremony, and was in shock at the Detroit rapper’s win, suggesting there were better options.

“Let’s be real. I f–k with Slim Shady but let’s be real,” he said. “Eminem is tough but let’s be real though, gang.”

The streamer was shocked on Eminem winning both categories over artists like Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, Future and Drake. While K. Dot failed to win in both categories despite a record-breaking year, he did win the Favourite hip-hop song for his Drake diss “Not Like Us.”

Eminem acknowledged the honour with a video message for the fans: “AMA,s what’s up. Favourite male hip-hop artist. Thank you, I appreciate that. Think it’s been 23 years since I won my first AMA and I am 24 years old. That’s Crazy,” he jokes. “Seriously, Man, thank you to the fans. Thank you to everybody who voted for me, I appreciate y’all. Thank you so much.”

It was Eminem’s ninth and tenth AMA, and first since 2010’s “Recovery”, which won the Favourite Rap/Hip-Hop Album.
