Joyner Lucas drags Machine Gun Kelly in feud with Lollapalooza.
Earlier this week, Lollapalooza announced the lineup for this year’s festival, which will take place from July 28-31 at Grant Park in Chicago Illinois. The annual fest will be headlined by the likes of Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Doja Cat and Lil Baby, with several other top performers. Joyner Lucas, who’s also named as one of the sets for the event, took shots at Lollapalooza for disrespecting him.
Despite being confirmed for Lollapalooza, Worcester, Massachusetts-based rapper Joyner Lucas is dissatisfied with the list announcement. The 33-year-old hip-hop singer chastised the festival’s organisers for writing his name in tiny letters on the roster, saying that less well-known artists were given better billing than him and mocking Machine Gun Kelly, who is one of the festival’s headliners this year.
“These festivals is gon stop playing with me like I ain’t that ni**a. Putting my name next to the names of a bunch of random ni**az that nobody heard of and offering me a weak a*s [money bag]. Then I say no to the offer and these h*e a*s ni**az put me on the flier anyways,” he wrote.
“I’m the biggest independent artist period with the exception of my ni**a tech. And I got the numbers & the fans & the [money bag] to back that statement up. How is it that these festivals keep tryna bunch my name up with a bunch of ni**az who ain’t on my level?. ni**a I’m JOYNER LUCAS,” he said in another tweet.
Joyner Lucas doesn’t seem to be pleased to see tha name of rapper turned Pop-Funk artist Machine Gun Kelly in the headliner list. The rapper dragged the Cleveland artist while threatening to diss him in reference to beef with Eminem.
“Then you got this goofy a*s ni**a headlining? Smh how sway?,” he asked in a tweet. “someone said “don’t bring out the rap devil”… maaaaannnn listen. Lol What my brother Marshall did to this ni**a @machinegunkelly is light compared to what’s waiting if he wanna walk down that street wit me. Ain’t nobody worried bout a ni**a who paints his nails. foh,” he wrote in another tweet.
