Joell Ortiz, from Slaughterhouse, recently interacted on Twitter with the fans during the Q&A session. One of the fans asked if he had ever been intimidated at Joell Ortiz’s booth, “Never intimidated. But it was certainly inspiring to be around Slaughter and Em.”

He was also asked about a collaboration that had him like, “wtf I’m doing a record with this person.” Joell Ortiz revealed that some of the early slaughterhouse’s songs with Eminem.
These four emcees, together with Ortiz, blessed a tune dubbed “Slaughterhouse.” At first, it appeared to be a one-off, a posse cut that would be discussed in barbershops, blocks, and boards. Who had the most creative verse? But, as time went on, it became obvious that the song was much more. For these four emcees, it was the beginning of a group. It evolved into a union, as ominous as their names indicate and as poetic as their histories suggest. The group received critical praise after releasing an independent group effort.
