Joe Budden fires more shots at NBA Youngboy.
Joe Budden doubled down on his criticism for NBA Youngboy’s music as the rapper turned podcast host fired shots at the Baton Rouge native through a space session on Twitter/X. Budden first claimed that he’s bigger than Youngboy, then went on to read Billboard sales figures of NBA’s recent projects.
“I just wanna say, I’m way bigger than him. Stop this,” he said. “Dawg, you young idiots get fooled by these label metrics and these digital tricks. Would you like me to read you the numbers on YoungBoy’s last six projects? Alright. I mean, I don’t want to. I didn’t think I had to do this. ‘Cause I’m sure someone here is recording.”
“2022, Never Broke Again, Quando Rondo LLC, 14,000 copies week one, Billboard position 62. Then you have Fed Baby’s, Moneybagg Yo, 2017, 21,000 week one. “3800 Degrees,” October 7, 2022, 24,000. What else we got? “Better Than You” with DaBaby, March 4, 2022, 28,000. “Until I Return,” 2020, 29,000. Stop this, yo. Stop.”
He continued, “January 6, 2023, 29,000. Here, we got another one. 2022, “Ma’ I Got a Family,” 39,000. We got another one here, September 6, Never Broke Again, 39,000. We got another one here, 2018, 43,000. We got another one, 43,000, 2018. We got another one here, 51,000, 2023.”
“The point is, you doing a lot for somebody that don’t sell more than 60,000 records. Stop it. Enough of young people just saying stupid sh-t in Hip Hop. We get it, you like who you like, awesome. But it’s not this dominant force that you ni–as keep tryna make it out to be.”

Previously, Youngboy dissed Budden after being trashed on his podcast. “Don’t speak on me. I don’t play that sh-t. Don’t rat on me neither, you pu–y bi–h,” YB says in the clip. “Stupid dumb bi–h, yo d–k don’t get even hard no more, clown-a-s ni–a,” he continued. “Ain’t no sabotaging me, bi–h. F–k wrong wit that ni–a, mayne? Don’t rat on me.”
“I don’t want to argue with ya bi–h a-s, ni–a,” the Baton Rouge rapper added. “Bi–h, you do all them interviews, come on to Gravedigger Mountain and talk to me, ni–a. Bi–h, if you can’t do that, mayne, hey, you bi–h-made ni–a. Shut your f–kin’ mouth.”
