Joe Budden talks Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss with DJ Akademiks.
DJ Akademiks continues to show his support for Drake following the diss track “Euphoria” from Kendrick Lamar, and he called Joe Budden during his stream for a response on the beef.
“I want to see Drake bleed, I do,” said Budden. “I want to know how my favourites respond to getting punched in the face… And Drake had a smooth ride his whole career, except for Pusha T [feud]. I want to see what happens when someone on your level is in front of your face. I love Drake and imma love him even more if he do what he need to do, finish your food… I come from finish your food era ni–a, we don’t play with the food. This aint Meek Mill no more… you had a decade long run of killing ni-as, now the boogeyman is here.”

Following the release, Akademiks stated that Drake won the first round with his diss track “Push Ups”, and called Rick Ross’ diss track better than Kendrick Lamar’s. “Unpopular Opinion.. Rick Ross had a better Drake diss than Kendrick. at least that ni–a came w some Jokes. BBL DRIZZY funny… kendrick just said the same sh-t.. 15 other ni–as done said. sh-t wasn’t even that funny or clever.
“Kendrick Lamar diss hard tho. Just a lil bloated and basically was a long a-s warning shot. Dont think he realize drake already think its up w him… Kendrick talking bout we can have friendly fades..and not get personal… ni–a huh?,” he added.
According to AK, Drake sent him a text and teased him to drop his response soon. “I’m energized by the elimination of Drake… See you soon,” he wrote in the text.
