Joe Budden chooses the best rapper alive from some of the top names right now.
Joe Budden made his return to Complex to take part in their Bracket to pick the best rapper alive. The list had 16 names at the start, which includes Eminem, Lil Wayne, Drake, Kanye West, Nas, Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z and more.
The final four on the list were Wayne, Hov, Kendrick and Cole. Budden picked Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar as top 2 before concluding the list by crowning Hov as the best rapper alive.
“Unlike 2009, with that old Vibe list, I gotta say I love and respect, appreciate and admire each and every one of these people that you have in this bracket,” he said at the end. “This ends as the way it should end, with the best rapper ever as the best rapper alive.”
