Joe Budden applauds Future with huge praise.
When we talk about the best rappers of this past decade, we often name the likes of Drake, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, but now Joe Budden claims that Future deserves to be in the same tier as the greats of the generation.
During the latest episode of “Joe Budden Podcast,” Budden claims that Future earned the right to be placed alongside Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar and more. “So, I was trying to think of the last and it shocked me to learn that we don’t talk about Future enough on that list and he’s there,” he said. “But he’s been there and we don’t discuss it. We just say Drake, Ye, Cole, Kendrick, Wayne… Hov is already goated… but Future is there.”
Future was recently featured on Drake’s single “Way 2 Sexy,” which also included Young Thug. Future raps about being “too hot for your girl, too sexy for the world, his fame, and his chain” in the chorus, altering the sampled track’s hook.
Recently, Future declared himself bigger than Jay-Z in the streets, and also seemingly agreed to the statement that he could beat Hov in a Verzuz battle. Future recently boasted about Surprising Rolling Loud Crowd With Guest Star Kanye West.
