J. Cole receives flowers from Jermaine Dupri for the “All My Life” feature.
Earlier this month, J. Cole assisted Lil Durk on the song titled “All My Life” as the latest offering off Smurk’s upcoming “Almost Healed” album. The Dreamville boss received praise from the fans on social media, and now he gets appreciation from one of the greats producer.
Jermaine Dupri took to his social media to send praise for Cole. “Yo!!! J cole verse is so in the pocket on this All My Life , i can never listen to another offbeat rapper,bible,” he wrote.

The song was also a commercial success, as it debuted at #2 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart, just below Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night”.

Previously, Durk himself admitted that Cole smoked him on his own song. “The number one thing he smoked my a*s on that for one,” Durk said about collab with Cole. “That barely happens … shout out to J Cole.”
“It’s just a rap that’s just showing you what I been going through. What I been doing lately,” Durk said about the collab. “Trying to change how I am. Dr. Luke produced it. We were just trying to figure out like what’s the right person to put on it. ’Cause it’s one of those songs where if it’s not the right person to do the second verse… I feel like Cole can bring the energy that I’m looking for to it.”
