Jelly Roll and Eminem connect for “Lose Yourself” performance.
Jelly Roll continues his performances for Big Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour and their latest stop was Detroit’s Ford Field stadium on Sunday night.
Jelly Roll decided to pay homage to Eminem by performing his Academy Award-winning “Lose Yourself”, before surprising the crowd and bringing out the Detroit rapper himself. Eminem was in his go-to attire, a military-style hooded jacket and baseball cap. This is Eminem’s first public appearance in a long time.
“Detroit, what up? Make some noise for Jelly Roll.” Eminem shouted to the crowd of over 46,000 at the end of the song. “Long time, no see. I love y’all. Peace!”. During his exit, Jelly said: “If you can’t tell, that was a childhood dream come f–king true, Detroit. This is the greatest show I’ve ever had in my f–king life.”
He then stated that Eminem’s music “helped me through the darkest moments of my life” and also shouted out Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg.

The duo teamed up a couple of times in the past year. Eminem first linked up with Jelly Roll to perform “Sing For the Moment” at the Michigan Central Open concert last year. Jelly Roll then featured on Eminem’s “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)” album for the song “Somebody Save Me.”
