Jason Derulo gets into a scuffle with two guys over being called “Usher”.
Jason Derulo had a physical altercation with two men outside of a nightclub at the ARIA Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. According to TMZ, the 32-year-old artist and one of the men were passing each other on an escalator, when the guy tried to troll Jason by yelling, “Hey, Usher! F**k you, b***h.” The singer did not like it a bit as he punched the guy in the face, sending him to the floor.
Just after that, Derulo reportedly slapped the second guy and that’s when security rushed in to break the scuffle. The two guys had some bloody facial wounds but didn’t require a hospital visit. The two didn’t press any charges against the singer, but there’s always a possibility of a lawsuit.
Later, Jason Derulo received a trespassing notice from ARIA and was removed from the hotel property.
Derulo was revealed as part of the lineup for this year’s Rock in Rio Lisboa event, which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, between June 18-19 and June 25-26. Post Malone, Foo Fighters, The National, Liam Gallagher, Duran Duran, a-ha, Bush, and more will perform on the bill.
The incident has been trending on social media and got a treatment of a meme fest. Check out some of the reactions below.

Happy for Jason Derulo. A lot of people, especially young white men, have made “trolling” and microaggressions a part of their personality because social media has caused people to think there are no consequences.
Jason reminded them folks that the internet is not real life. https://t.co/MsuPRv5sCy
