Jadakiss Reveals J. Cole Has a New Mixtape Coming Before The Fall-Off

J. Cole is dropping a new mixtape with “The Fall-Off”, according to Jadakiss.

J. Cole recently made an announcement for his long-awaited seventh studio album, “The Fall-Off”, which is scheduled to drop on February 6th. Now, according to Jadakiss, the Dreamville boss will accompany the album with a new mixtape.

During the recent episode of his and Fat Joe’s “Joe & Jada podcast”, he reveals that Cole will drop a mixtape before “The Fall-Off.” “Shout out to J. Cole. He got a project coming out called The Fall-Off and he got a mixtape where he used some of The LOX [beats]. He rhymed over ‘Money, Power & Respect’ and he rhymed over ‘Can I Live,’” he said.

“He killed them sh-ts. Cole is coming back in a major way. When you hear his bars, all [criticism to his Kendrick Lamar apology] don’t matter. He’s coming crazy.”

J. Cole recently teased the album with a new song, “Track 2 (Disc 2)”. At the start of the music video, it reads: “For the past 10 years, this album has been hand crafted with one intention: a personal challenge to myself to create my best work. To do my last what I was unable to do on my first. I had no way of knowing how much time, focus and energy it would eventually take to achieve this, but despite the countless challenges along the way, I knew in my heart I would one day get to the finish line. I owed it first and foremost to myself. And secondly, I owed it to hip hop. THE FALL-OFF. J. COLE.”
