JID and Metro Boomin working on new joint album.
Metro Boomin is dominating music platforms with his most recent “Heroes & Villains” album, which became the most streamed album of 2022 despite dropping in December. The super producer recently released the remix to The Weeknd and 21 Savage featured hit “Creepin“, which came with an additional verse from Diddy.
Boomin now took to his social media to tease more new music as he shared a picture with Dreamville’s JID in the studio. “I love working with u brudda, it’s an honor,” wrote JID. “Honor is mine family,” responds Boomin.

The project is a possible follow-up to JID’s last year’s third studio album “The Forever Story“.
In a recent cover story for Flaunt magazine, Metro Boomin confirmed that he and Future have a collaborative album in the works, stating confidently, “I would bet on it. I would definitely bet on it.” This won’t be the first time the producer has worked on such a project, having previously collaborated on albums such as Without Warning with 21 Savage and Offset in 2017, Double or Nothing with Big Sean in the same year, and Savage Mode II with 21 Savage (with narration by Morgan Freeman) in 2020.
