Iggy Azalea Slams Playboi Carti for Claiming to ‘Take Care’ of Her.
Iggy Azalea is once again slamming Playboi Carti. Just last week, the rapper spoke with XXL and complimented the mother of his 2-year-old kid Onyx. But, according to Iggy, his remarks do not accurately depict their relationship and were intended to gain him public favor. Iggy reacted angrily after his words were made public, alleging Carti does not provide for her.

“Take care of me? Lmaooooo,” she wrote in a series of since-deleted tweets. “let’s not get carried away now.”
The “Sky” rapper raved over his son’s mother in the interview, making it appear like they were on excellent terms. “She’s a great mom. I love her to death,” he told the magazine. “I’m single. She’s single now. But that’s one of the best mothers in the world. And that’s what you got to put in the book, you hear me? I love her to death. She is the best mother in the world.”
When told that Carti had said “so many things” about her, Iggy claimed that he was manipulating the issue and that Carti did not financially support her.
“You’ve been mislead,” she wrote. “I don’t f**k with a man I’m not even remotely on good terms with claiming he pays my bills. I pay my bills.”

Carti’s team approached Iggy about the interview because they were concerned about how she would respond, according to Iggy.

“His team has been calling about the interview, hoping for my silence because they know what my reaction would be,” she continued. “I do appreciate being called a great mom but when that’s not reflective of what he has to say in real life I’d much rather be left out of being mentioned at all.”
This isn’t the first occasion Iggy has made her ex-public on social media. She alleged in December 2020 that he cheated on her while she was pregnant, that he was an absent parent, and that he missed their son’s first Christmas.
