Gucci Mane Explains why Eminem can’t be King of Rap.
Gucci Mane recently made a visit to ‘The Rickey Smiley Show‘ to promote his new album ‘Evil Genius‘ where he was questioned Eminem’s ‘King of Rap’ Status. The host Headkrack asked the rapper if Eminem is the King of Rap for which Gucci replied: “You got to come with a better name.”
He continues and asked the host “I ain’t playing Eminem in my car. You play him in yours?” for which Headkrack said he did play him the week he drops a new album. Gucci expresses his surprise to the answer by asking “You sliding around playing Eminem in your car, you and your ol’ lady?” and then Headkrack explained that he plays them “dolo.” They all had a laugh while imagining themselves driving around listening to Eminem.
Gucci is me. I don’t know any regular black people who just ride around listening to Eminem in their free time. Or ever, really. #TooManyNapkins pic.twitter.com/FjIeLBh3Wc

Despite Gucci’s scoffing at the allegation, Em is still a chart force. Kamikaze, his most recent album, went platinum in October. Gucci made an appearance on “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” to promote his new album Evil Genius, which opened at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 charts.
Gucci Mane’s new album ‘Evil Genius‘ debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 with over 48k album sales and Eminem’s latest album ‘Kamikaze‘ debuted at number 1 on Billboard 200 with over 434k album sales in the first week and was certified platinum in October so, despite Gucci Mane’s opinion on Eminem, he’s still doing pretty good at this age.
