Cole Bennett is thankful for learning so much from Eminem.
Last night, Eminem released his second album of 2020, in form of Side B Deluxe Version of “Music To Be Murdered By” album. Along with the project, Eminem also dropped a music video for his song “GNAT” where he once again collaborated with Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett Director, with whom he worked on “Godzilla” earlier this year.
The young filmmaker who shot Eminem’s new visuals for “Godzilla” discusses the making of the video, how he came up with the idea to include Mike Tyson in the plot, and what it was like working with Eminem on set. Cole Bennett sat on his sofa for 16 minutes, animatedly discussing the video for the most popular track from Eminem’s current album “Music To Be Murdered By.” We learned that hiring him was Marshall’s idea and that it was his way of establishing a link to Juice WRLD, who unfortunately did not live long enough to witness it.
Cole Bennett took to his social media to share the video where he acknowledges the Detroit Rapper. “another one with @eminem 🍿 go watch the “GNAT” video. truly a pleasure working with Em every time , he just loves to have fun & get work done. I’ve learned so much from him in the short time I’ve known him & i’m thankful for every bit of it.” wrote Bennett.
