G-Eazy announces the new album “These Things Happen Too.”
G-Eazy has kicked off his new era with an official announcement of his new album “These Things Happen Too.” He had been working on the project for some time now and today he finally revealed that the album will release later this month on September 24th. It’s a follow-up to his “The Beautiful & Damned” album which was dropped way back in 2017. “I know it’s been a long, long time…” he wrote.
The multi-faceted artist’s upcoming album is poised to highlight G-vast Eazy’s and diversified body of work, paying respect to contemporary classics as well as fan-favorite tunes,” G-Eazy writes beside the photo.
The album’s announcement was accompanied by a new song, ‘The Announcement,’ a hard-hitting anthem that highlights G-increasing Eazy’s superstar status “This ain’t’ 2012 Gerry, this a different G,” he raps. “You gotta talk to my agent now, that’s different fee/ You gotta jump through ten hoops before you talk to me/ Penthousе at the Soho Grand, see the city differеntly.”
These Things Happen Too, is a follow-up to G-These Eazy’s Things Happen, which was released in 2014. The original album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 list and remained there for 138 weeks.
G-Eazy muses on the changes he’s encountered in both his personal life and business since the 2016 release of his first-ever top 10 Hot 100 smash single “Me, Myself & I” starring Bebe Rexha on his next project, which will be released later this month and features fellow artist Demi Lovato.
Along with the announcement, he also dropped a new track called “The Announcement,” and an album trailer. G-Eazy recently teamed up with EST Gee for “At Will” and Kossisko for “Running Wild (Tumblr Girls 2)“.
