Future teases a new album for this month’s release.
Future had been hinting at the release of new music in the past couple of months, and it looks like he is finally ready to drop something big. The last time we got an album from the Freebandz boss was in 2020 when he released his eighth studio album “High Off Life“. He recently made his music return with a solo single titled “Worst Day“.
The rapper now took to his Twitter and teased the new album with some tweets. “[Young] Scooter said drop album this month,” he wrote. “When the time right that’s when u throw ah strike,” he said in another tweet. He continued, “major heat coming fast, stay ready stay woke.”
Future released a track called “Worst Day” in February, in which he states, “Valentine’s Day is the worst day.” Future performed “Pushin’ P” with Gunna on Saturday Night Live last weekend. He also worked with Lil Durk on the song “Petty Too,” the video for which depicts the rappers indulging their woman pals to a secret shopping spree.
The Atlanta rapper will headline this year’s Rolling Loud Miami in July, and we can expect something new from him before the event. Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar are the other two stars for the festival which will take place from 22-24 July at Hard Rock Stadium.
