Future Surprises Rolling Loud Crowd With Guest Star Kanye West

Future performs at Rolling Loud California, brings out Kanye West.

After performances from artists like J. Cole, Chris Brown, Jack Harlow and more on Saturday, Rolling Loud California continues their three-day event for the final day on Sunday, Dec 12. The third day of Rolling Loud featured performances from Playboi Carti, Don Toliver, Polo G, DaBaby, Soulja Boy, and more. Future also performed at Ciroc Stage and gave a live performance of some of his greatest hits.

The highlight of the set was when Future surprised the crowd with the guest star Kanye West. Kanye West came out to a loud reception from the crowd, wearing a white hoodie and Free Larry Hoover written on his jeans. He started his performance with 2015’s hit “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”, followed by DONDA track “Hurricane” featuring The Weeknd and Lil Baby.

West’s attendance at Rolling Loud California after his epic reunion/beef-squashing concert with Drake last Thursday, December 7. The gig, which took place at the Los Angeles Coliseum, also served as a benefit concert for Larry Hoover, the Gangster Disciples’ cofounder who is serving a life term in federal prison.

West’s most recent album, Donda, was released in August. The album is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album at the Grammys next year, while “Hurricane” is nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance and “Jail” is nominated for Best Rap Song.

Kanye West also performed The Life of Pablo track “Father Stretch My Hands”. Future and Kanye West joined forces for a performance of the unreleased “F**k up some commas” remix. Ye was also dancing on the stage while Future performed the Drake collaboration “Way 2 Sexy”.

Future pulled out Roddy Ricch as a surprise guest in addition to Yeezy, with the left-coaster energising the audience with his chart-topping hit “The Box.” Live Life Fast, Roddy’s long-awaited sophomore album, is set to debut this Friday (Dec. 17).

At a charity event for Larry Hoover, creator of the Gangster Disciples gang, who is serving a life sentence in jail and is featured heavily in West’s song “Jesus Lord” from “Donda,” West and Drake reconciled their long-standing feud. West flew through a tremendous performance of his greatest songs, with a quick set from Drake in the midst, before the two joined forces onstage to complete the event atop a massive spaceship-like structure constructed in the centre of the field at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
