FC Barcelona celebrates Drake’s 50 billion Spotify streams.
Drake is in the top five most followed artists on Spotify, and the rapper recently made history after surpassing 50 Billion Streams on the platform to become the first artist to do so. Drake is followed by the likes of Bad Bunny, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd and Taylor Swift as the top five most streamed artists on Spotify globally.
The Toronto rapper, who is a huge sports fan, gets a nod from one of the top football clubs FC Barcelona. The former club of Lionel Messi will play el Clasico against Real Madrid this week and will be sporting Drizzy’s OVO logo on their jersey.
“To celebrate being the first artist with 50 billion streams on @spotify @FCBarcelona will wear the OVO owl at El Clasico on Sunday. this doesn’t feel real but it is,” wrote Drake.
