Jeezy explains to Fat Joe, why he is the king of Detroit.
Jeezy recently did a live interview session with Fat Joe, where he was asked about why he’s the king of Detroit. “It’s weird that I go to Detroit and you’re like a king of the, you might as well be Eminem, you know like, y’all they love you in Detroit, every time I got to Detroit, If I turn on the radio, it’s 30 Jeezy records, right now today, why is that,” says Fat Joe.
“Yeah that’s my second home,” says Jeezy. “We just connected on you know, just Detroit’s so solid and so just about morals, we connect there. That city is that’s gotta be hands down one of the most solid cities in the United States. They just respect real sh*t and for me When I go to Detroit it’s crazy I feel like I’m home.”
Jeezy’s eleventh studio album, The Recession 2, was released on November 20, 2020. It is a representation of the “current times,” as was the first, The Recession, which was published 12 years previously.
