Fat Joe talks about Eminem & Nick Cannon’s beef with TMZ.
Eminem recently appeared on Fat Joe’s new album on the track called ‘Lord Above‘ where he took some shots at Nick Cannon. Then Nick Cannon released two new Eminem diss tracks called ‘The Invitation‘ and ‘Pray For Him‘ along with their music videos.
Eminem rapped in Lord Above “I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note/ But that other dude’s whipped, that pu**y got him neutered/ Tried to tell him this chick’s a nutjob ‘fore he got his jewels clipped/ Almost got my caboose kicked/ Fool, quit, you not gon’ do sh*t/ I let her chop my balls off too ‘fore I lost to you, Nick.”
Now in a recent interview with TMZ, Fat Joe talks about the situation and said “I didn’t plan nothing. I’m an innocent bystander. I’m taking the high road, I love Nick Cannon. He’s a good guy. Eminem’s a very good friend of mine and they go their little personal hip-hop thing going, you know what I’m saying”
Fat Joe also sat down with Elliott Wilson for TIDAL’s CRWN interview series where he said “I got love for Nick Cannon. It’s not my fault that the great white hope GOAT of all time of Hip-Hop sends me a verse a day before we turn in the album and I’m like ‘Holy sh*t, this ni**a dissing Nick Cannon. Nick is my friend but I’m not gonna take out the verse. It’s Eminem.“.
Joe actually tried to convince us of his innocence, saying he’s just a bystander who’s worked with and respects both of them. FJ claims he has no responsibility, despite the fact that it was his song that started it all.
Joe recognizes that Nick and Em have some issues they need to work out, and he has no objection to them doing so through music. At the end of the day, Fat Joe claims that they are mature men who will handle the situation as they see fit.
