Fat Joe would like to bring back Biggie and Big Pun to life.
Fat Joe was a recent guest on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk show, where the rapper responded to some of the fans’ questions. One of the fans asked the South Bronx rapper to name two people who passed away, that he would love to bring back to life.
“If it’s just music, it would be Biggie and Big Pun,” Fat Joe answered. “Oh my God, these guys died so young. And they were my good friends, my brothers. My best time at life was when I discovered Pun and we went through everything. We got rich together. Big Pun was funny, he was so crazy.”
“Biggie was my brother since day one too,” he continued. “Such a beautiful guy. He didn’t have to pass away. It’s really sad.”

While The Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed by an unidentified assailant when he was visiting Los Angeles. He was killed six months after the murder of Tupac Shakur. Biggie was just 24 years old at the time of his death.
Fat Joe and Big Pun became friends after Terror Squad head Big Pun heard the late Puerto Rican rapper and invited him to appear on the tune “Watch Out” off his 1995 album Jealous One’s Envy. Joe said last year on IG Live with Timbaland and Swizz Beatz that his connection with Biggie nearly led to the two releasing a collaborative album.
