Fat Joe is not happy with Irv Gotti for Ashanti Remarks.
Irv Gotti and Ja Rule were the latest guest on N.O.R.E and DJ EFN’s “Drink Champs” show, and the Murder Inc. cofounder trends for his revelation about a secret relationship with Ashanti around 20 years ago. Now Ashanti’s longtime collaborator and friend Fat Joe called out Gotti for disrespecting the singer, and also dragged Ja Rule for not defending her.

“Irv Gotti a sucker, man. He a sucker,” Fat Joe says. “Y’all can @ Irv Gotti, Ja, whatever the f**k you want,” he continued. “Whatever Irv has with Ashanti is 20 years old, right. I know he was making some points that mean a lot to him. But when you keep ranting about somebody 20 years later, it felt like he’s not over the young lady, right.”
“It’s okay, if its in a documentary,” he continued. “You gotta see your truth in your documentary. But to go to Drink Champs and to keep calling her a bi**h, keep disrespecting… Um, guys, I’m not gonna be the guy to ‘stand up for Ashanti, the brother that’… Ja Rule was standing right next to him. And so I’m not gonna be that guy. But, I’m not telling stories about a girl I was with 20 years ago. In fact, I hope you die. F**k you, bi**h. Leave me alone, right. So, when you doing this, it looks like you caught up, you aint get over the sh*t.”
Not just Fat Joe found Irv Gotti’s participation on Drink Champs annoying. In other parts of the conversation, the renowned producer also made reference to Mic Geronimo, a rapper from Queens with whom he had a strong working relationship in the 1990s. “We back on Mic Geronimo?” Gotti said at one point. “F**k that bi**h a*s n***a. I’m drunk but it’s really real. F**k you n***a. You thought I wasn’t the one? Guess what? I’m the one n***a. I’m the f**kin one…I’m gonna make them f**kin’ hits that you gonna remember forever.”
