Eminem’s new album ‘Kamikaze’ first week sales are here, to debut at #1 on Billboard 200.
The first week sales of Eminem’s 10th studio album ‘Kamikaze‘ is finally here. The surprise album via Shady/Aftermath/Interscope smashed into the #1 on HDD Top 50 with sales over 410k in the first week with 250k Pure sales. The album is all set to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200.
Eminem last year’s album ‘Revival’ only sold 267k copies in the week and ‘Kamikaze’ clearly surpassed it without any promotion or singles. The new Eminem’s album got the fourth-biggest first week sales, just behind Drake, Travis Scott, and Post Malone.
All eleven songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Lucky You” and “The Ringer” peaking at number six and eight, respectively. He is the seventh artist to have two songs debut in the top ten at the same time. It was the best-selling hip hop album of the year by October 17 and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America a few days later, with 1 million album-equivalent units sold in the US, 415,000 of which were pure sales.
