People acknowledge Eminem for helping Joe Biden win Michigan.
The 2020 US Presidential Election is currently going on and Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden is likely to take the Oval Office after a huge lead in the election. He’s declared victorious in both Michigan and Wisconsin, the state that Donald Trump secured during the elections in 2016.
Hip hop will always have a significant impact on anything it touches. That might be one of the reasons why Joe Biden is expected to win the presidential election in Michigan. Eminem’s fans believe he had anything to do with it. Biden used Em’s popular song “Lose Yourself” in a campaign commercial. Em also weighed in and pushed on his own, writing on Twitter, “One opportunity… #Vote.” Eminem’s contribution to the song — as well as his endorsement of Biden — was significant, since the Detroit native had never previously permitted his music to be used in a political campaign. Em is known for his rigorous licensing policies, and in 2017, he successfully sued a political party in New Zealand for using a counterfeit version of “Lose Yourself.”
After Joe Biden’s win in Michigan, people are giving credit to the Detroit Rapper Eminem for helping the Democratic Candidate getting the state of Michigan, as he recently licensed his iconic ‘Lose Yourself‘ for Biden-Harris Campaign Ad, which is Detroit MC’s first time contributing a track in an election. Check out some of the social media’s reactions below.
So proud of Michigan today! We gave the world Motown, Aretha, Madonna, Iggy, Eminem, Magic Johnson, corn flakes, cars, & the middle class. Malcolm X & Thomas Edison grew up here. Arthur Miller wrote his first play here. Rosa Parks lived here most of her life. And now: Pres. Biden! pic.twitter.com/V3bHlWi8Q3

y’all done gave Eminem so much hate the past few years yet he one of the only rappers that showed up and stood with the people when it mattered the most… everybody who’s ever slandered him should be ashamed of themselves.
