Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott, is in legal trouble after an alleged DUI crash with son inside.
Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott, is currently facing two misdemeanour charges after an alleged car crash in Michigan that involved her son and his friends inside the vehicle.
According to TMZ, the court records state that Scott has been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to stop or identify after causing property damage. As per TMZ Sources, the incident reportedly took place at around 8:00 pm on Monday, shortly after Scott left her home with her son, Parker, and three of his friends. Just moments into the drive, Scott allegedly struck a parked vehicle, then returned to her driveway, where she reportedly hit her garage door.
Neighbours called the police after hearing the crash. When officers arrived at the scene, Scott was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Her attorney, Michael Smith, told TMZ that Scott is “a good person” and described her as “a beautiful human being.”
The infamous Kim Scott was married to Eminem from 1999 to 2001 and from 2006 to 2007. The former couple share a daughter, Hailie Jade. Hailie Jad,e who married her longtime boyfriend Evan McClintock a couple of years back, gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, last year.
