Eminem has more monthly Spotify listeners than Mariah Carey now.
Eminem continues to break new charting milestones, thanks to his last year’s “Music To Be Murdered By” album and the deluxe version of it. According to Eminem Charts, he now becomes the second act pre-2000’s with the most monthly listeners on the music platform Spotify. He has surpassed his longtime foe, Mariah Carey, to reach that mark.
The Detroit Rapper now has 39 Million monthly listeners, who have two million more than Mariah, who currently has 37 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
On January 17th, 2020, Eminem released the side B (Deluxe Version) of his 11th studio album, “Music To Be Murdered By.” Fans have praised and adored Side B, just as they have the original record. Eminem’s mentor, super producer, and NWA’s Dr. Dre, Marshall’s longtime collaborator Skylar Grey, Ty Dolla $ign, Sly Pyper, MAJ, famous producer DJ Premier, and White Gold all make cameos on the album.
According to Billboard, the album sold 279,000 units in its first week for Side A and 94,000 units for Side B in December 2020, propelling it to number three on the Billboard 200 albums list from number 199.
