Eminem in talks to produce and write Music for new Tv Series “Narc”.
According to Deadline, Eminem is reportedly in talks with Motor City: Paramount Tv to Executive produce and write new Music for their upcoming Tv Series titled “Narc” based on Joe Carnahan’s 2002 Crime-drama of the same name. Deadline notes that “Eminem is in negotiations to join the project as an Executive producer, and as a part of that he is expected to write some original songs. Carnahan has written as pilot script and is set to direct and executive produce the drama, which is expected to be taken out to networks“. The decision to take Eminem as an executive producer in the show is taken following the success of Hip-Hop show Empire which is produced by Timbaland. The show is inspired by 2002 Crime-drama “Narc” which starred by Ray Liotta and Jason Patric as Detroit Police Detectives who were investigating the Murder of an Undercover Cop.
Eminem has not worked for any Tv series as an actor or music producer yet but he has been in some cameo role in some movies in past and a Starring Role in Rap Based Movie “8 mile” and also won an Academy Award for the Original Soundtrack of the same movie. Eminem has just released a new track titled Phenomenal which is featuring as soundtrack of the upcoming Boxing Based Movie “Southpaw”.
