HBO shares the Detroit Lions Hard Knocks finale trailer featuring Eminem.
This year, HBO Sports and NFL Films partner with the Detroit Lions for an unfiltered all-access look at what it takes to make it in the National Football League, which gives camera crew access to players’ and coaches’ meeting rooms, training rooms, living quarters and practice fields. After the release of 4 episodes, the finale will premiere on September 6, and today we have a teaser featuring none other than Detroit legend and the NFL team’s one of the biggest fans Eminem.
“I said, I’m here for whatever position. Any of ’em, all of ’em,” says Eminem in the clip, accompanied by Mr. Porter. “How are you doing man, great to meet you, bro,” asks Eminem to some of the players at the training. “Big fan. It’s definitely good to meet you for sure. Appreciate you coming out though,” says the players. “Absolutely bro. We got a good team this year, man. Let’s go,” responds Eminem.
“We gotta get you to come out to the games this year, man,” says a player. “I said I’ll lace up whenever. Like I’ll go to every game, I’ll stand on the sideline. And if you guys need to put me in, put me in. Any position, I’m good, I’m great.”
As the Lions are ready to demonstrate their worth once more, Liev Schreiber will return to serve as the narrator. During the 2021 NFL season, the Detroit-based club finished last in both its region and the National Football Conference. “We are excited about the opportunity to showcase the City of Detroit and the amazing culture we are building at the Lions,” said Detroit Lions Team President and CEO, Rod Wood, back when the show was announced in March 2022. “HBO Sports and NFL Films are the best of the best and we know they will be excellent partners in sharing our story with football fans around the world.”
