Eminem shares the “Curtain Call 2” release date.
Last month, Eminem linked up with Snoop Dogg for their highly anticipated new collaboration “From The D 2 The LBC,” which has been teased since 2021. Along with the Bored Ape NFT-inspired music video, the rapper also teased a new compilation project “Curtain Call 2“, a sequel to his 2005 effort. The Detroit legend has now officially announced the project and revealed that it would drop next month on 5th August.
It is revealed that the Snoop Dogg collaboration was the first single off an upcoming project. The project will also feature Eminem and CeeLo Green’s recent joint “The King & I“, off the soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic.

Eminem’s first compilation project “Curtain Call: The Hits” was released in 2005. The album featured songs like “Fack”, “The Way I Am”, “Stan”, “Lose Yourself”, “Without Me”, “The Real Slim Shady”, “Mockingbird”, “Just Lose It” and more. In August 2017, the album was declared the longest-running rap LP in the history of the Billboard 200.
Over the years, Eminem has released 11 solo albums, 12 if Music To Be Murdered By: Side B is counted. The 47-year-old MC has been selling CDs at an astonishing speed for decades. Music To Be Murdered By, for example, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with nearly 279,000 total album-equivalent units sold in its first week.
Marshall Mathers has sold over 220 million records worldwide, including ten chart-topping albums that all debuted at No. 1, making him the first artist to do so.
In addition to the conventional release of Curtain Call 2, Eminem’s official website will sell a limited edition box set and signed vinyl.
