Eminem showed his support for Joe Biden by allowing his song “Lose Yourself” to be used as the soundtrack for a campaign ad for the President-elect. This was the first time Em, who has always been private about his music, leased one of his songs to a political contender.

Now the legendary Detroit Rapper took to social media where he shared the Obama clip with folded hands emoji.  ‘Lose Yourself’ was included in a Spotify playlist published by the former president in November to promote his forthcoming biography.

Beyoncé’s ‘Halo,’ a rendition of Etta James’ ‘At Last,’ Bruce Springsteen’s ‘The Rising,’ and a homage to his wife in the form of The Beatles’ “Michelle” were also on the playlist. In June 2019, the Obamas announced an exclusive partnership with Spotify to create a series of podcasts under their Higher Ground Productions.
