Eminem Shares Official Cover Art For New Single Houdini Dropping This Week

Eminem unveils artwork for new single “Houdini”.

Eminem is all set to make his return to the music as he will drop his comeback single “Houdini” tomorrow (May 31st). Ahead of the release, the rapper has unveiled an official cover art for the single. The rapper had been teasing the song in past week, and it will kick the campaign for his next album “The Death of Slim Shady“, which was announced last month.

In the magic-inspired animated artwork, it reads: “Guess who’s back? and for my last trick…” Just the other day, the rapper announced the single with a promo clip featuring magician David Blaine, as the two interact in a Facetime video. “How far can we go with this magic? Can we do a stunt or something?” the Detroit rapper asks Blaine. David responds by sipping on a glass of wine, before taking a bite on the glass, to which Eminem responds: “well for my last trick, I’m gonna make my career disappear.” The term “last trick” is likely a reference to what may be his final album released under the moniker of “Slim Shady.”

“Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year,” announced Dr. Dre in March. “And I actually talked to him and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. I’ve got songs on it and it’s fire. I’m actually going hear the entire album for the first time tomorrow and he holds his music close to his chest so I haven’t hear everything, I haven’t even heard everything complete that I’ve done but I’m going to hear it and he’s putting out an album this year.”
