Apple Music debuted earlier this week, with DJ Zane Lowe at the helm of its live radio function, and now YouTube has posted a video of his first exclusive Beats 1 interview. The Detroit Rapper Eminem Sat Down With Zane Lowe For the First Interview Session For Apple Music. The Interview Starts With MMLP2’s Cut ‘Survival’, Eminem Talks About his upcoming ‘Southpaw’ Soundtrack, Share he Loves Boxing, Playing Basketball & wants to be the Part of ‘Southpaw’. During the Interview, Em Also Talks upcoming ‘Phenomenal’ Music Video (Due on Friday, July 3). Shares he Done his Own Stunts for the Music Video, Music Video Going to Exclusively Available in Apple Music. Eminem Also Talks About 8 Mile Saying, If there’s No 8 Mile then No Lose Yourself, Promised New Music Coming Soon.
As Lowe applauded Eminem’s performance in 8 Mile, he briefly discussed what it would take to lure him back to the screen as an actor. “For me, I have fun doing little cameos, too,” Em told the host. “I don’t have trouble necessarily committing to things, but it has to be something that I’ve gotta be super passionate about…[Juggling those worlds] permits you no time for a life.” He also, excitingly, promised new music coming soon.
We all know Lowe has a good ear for music and considers Eminem to be one of the greatest artists and musicians of all time. Furthermore, Eminem and Dr. Dre are close friends, and Dr. Dre is a member of the Apple Music-Beats team. Whatever the case may be, Lowe went ahead and did his Eminem interview, which was broadcast on Beats 1.
