Eminem bags historical milestone in UK Charts.
Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and other Super Bowl halftime show performers had a major boost on the streaming platforms, as their iconic records are charting up on various platforms. The Detroit Rapper continues to earn new milestones, as he now gets a historical accolade in the United Kingdom.
According to Forbes, the “Lose Yourself” rapper becomes the first Hip Hop act to have a project hit 500 weeks on the albums charts in the UK. The rapper earned the honour with help from his 2005’s greatest hits compilation album “Curtain Call: The Hits.” The album debuted on #1 in UK Charts and stayed on top for straight five weeks upon its release.
With conjunction to his resounding victory in the United Kingdom, the Shady Records CEO has recovered significant traction in the United States with his presence in the Dr. Dre-produced Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show alongside 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige.
Along with significant streaming growth, Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” entered the top ten of the US Spotify list for the first time. The Oscar-winning 8 Mile soundtrack hit became the first rap song from the 2000s to exceed one billion listens on the platform in October of 2020.
The 24 tracks project had Eminem’s hits like “Lose Yourself”, “Without Me”, “The Real Slim Shady”, “My Name Is”, “Stan”, “Just Lose It” and more.
Eminem Earns Historical Spotify Milestone Following Super Bowl Show
Em and Snoop Dogg have just dropped a brand-new song called “From The D 2 The LBC.” Eminem is at his poetic best in this song, which is blazingly fast. Eminem used Instagram to promote the song’s release, and as you can see in the image below, it seems like Em is working on something larger. The hashtag “CurtainCall2” is one of them. This was quickly brought out in enthusiasm by several fans in the comments section once they discovered it. Of course, Eminem issued a compilation album called Curtain Call in 2005 that had some of his biggest singles at the time.
