Eminem's Guinness World Record Broken By UK Rapper Harry Shotta

UK Rapper Harry Shotta has broken Eminem’s “Guinness World Record”.

In 2013, Eminem created a new Guinness World Record for most words in a song for his hit “Rap God”, but unfortunately the Detroit Rapper no longer holds that record. Eminem’s record has been broken by UK Based Drum & Bass Rapper “Harry Shotta”.

Last year, Harry Shotta dropped his track titled “Animal“, which got more words than Eminem’s Record holder track “Rap God“. The 6 minute and 23-second song has created the new world record for most words in a track with a total of 1771 words and surpassed Eminem’s 6 minute and 10-second track “Rap God” which created the world record last year with 1560 words.

The UK Rapper has revealed his goal in an interview “I wanted it to be the exact length of Rap God and just for personal challenge, I wanted to see if I could get anywhere close to his word count” Shotta said. “The process is a long-winded one but we know the word count is more than Eminem and hopefully they will recognize that“. Harry Shotta also said that there is not intentions to Disrespect the Detroit Rapper “No Disrespect to Eminem at all, this is purely about pushing our Art and having some fun“.

“We did it live and it worked really well then Phantasy sent me a beat at the same BPM. I started to write to it and remembered the reaction of the Westfest,” Shotta explained. “I wanted it to be the exact length of Rap God and, just for a personal challenge, I wanted to see if I could get anywhere close to his word count.”

Shotta’s “Animal,” on the other hand, debuted on BBC Radio 1Xtra in the United Kingdom in June 2015. Since its release on June 8, 2015, the music video for “Animal” has received almost 1.4 million views on YouTube.

Kanye West reacts to equaling a music record with Eminem.

So far Guinness World Records has not made the Record Official.

According to Guinness world records, Eminem has over 25 records to his name, including the fastest rap in a hit single and the most words in a hit single. In the third verse of his No. 1 single “Godzilla,” from 2020 album “Music To Be Murdered By” the Rap God spits 225 words into a single 30-second segment, which averages 7.5 words per second.

UPDATE: It’s official now, Confirmed by Guinness World Record below. “The article helped us confirm the record. After you ran the story it went viral and a lot of US guys like T Pain and Wacka Flocka got onto it. It was a big look and it started right here on UKF. From there our manager just continually updated Guinness about it. He let them know how much momentum the whole story was getting and they couldn’t deny the buzz it was receiving. They recognized it was more than those ‘own the most dogs in the world’ or ‘eat as many cakes in the world’ type of chancer records. This was legit!
