Eminem invites the people of Detroit for an early vote celebration.
“When We All Vote” and “More Than a Vote” are teaming up with the Basketball team Detroit Pistons at their Fall Fest to bring together leading local and national partners for a socially distanced, family-friendly, early voting celebration in Detroit. They’re inviting everyone to come together with the community to celebrate and exercise our right to vote during early voting this year by dropping off your ballot at the event.
This event will take place at a ballot drop-off location at the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center, and will include free food from partners including World Central Kitchen, DoorDash, and more, including music from local DJs and even celebrity and athlete appearances.
This event will follow social distancing guidelines, Attendees and staff will be required to follow all CDC Covid-19 and social distancing protocols, and they’ll provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for those who need it.
Detroit rapper Eminem also encourages people of Detroit to attend the ballot drop off location for early voting celebrations. Check out his tweet below.
