Eminem was the most viewed rapper on Youtube last month.
It’s been over 800 days since Eminem dropped an album, but the rapper is still among the top artists on music streaming platforms. The Detroit rapper was the most viewed hip-hop artist on Youtube in 2021, and now he continues his domination in 2022. Even though he hasn’t dropped a music video in a long time, he still gained more views than any other rap artist in the world last few months.
More albums are being sold as a result of Eminem’s chart-topping run for his unexpected new album, Music To Be Murdered By. According to YouTube, the singer launched 11 tracks on the US charts today.
This week, the veteran MC also reaches the top of the US Top Artists chart. “Godzilla,” featuring Juice WRLD, “Darkness”. Other charting tunes by Marshall Bruce Mathers III includes “Unaccommodating,” “Premonition,” “You Gon’ Learn,” “Those Kinda Nights,” “Leaving Heaven,” “Marsh,” “In Too Deep,” “I Will,” and “Stepdad.”
In April 2022, Eminem earned 317 million views on his Youtube channel. The second on the list is Doja Cat with 286 million views, who is riding high on her last year’s “Planet Her” album. Doja Cat was the most nominated rapper at this year’s Grammy Awards and won her first-ever trophy for SZA collaboration “Kiss Me More“ in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
NBA Youngboy was the third most viewed rapper on the platform in April, as he earned 237 million views on his channel. The Baton Rouge rapper already dropped 3 projects this year, and he’s now prepping the release of another new album “The Last Slimeto“. The fourth and fifth on the list are Drake and Lil Baby.
